Project 1: Digital Scrapbook
By way of example, I'm currently working on a simple scrapbook of my own.
Your scrapbook will consist of three primary documents: one html and two css pages. The html page will include a minimum of five items that inspire your creative activity. This content should be laid out and marked up using XHTML compounds structured by a definition list.
Among other things, the site should be
- Valid: The site will validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict or XHTML 1.0 Transitional code;
- Accessible: The site will be fully usable by those with special needs and/or devices;
- Modular: The site will use semantic markup to add structural and meaningful information to the layout.
- Variable: The final project will include two CSS stylesheets, "scrapbook1.css" and "scrapbook2.css," which will display the single html page in distinct and visually sophisticated ways. At least one of the styles should display the paragraphs.
