Create a video using only still images and audio as your raw materials. The project must be between 2 and 2.5 minutes long, excluding credits. It may include no more than five seconds of continuous-motion video. Here are the specific requirements:
- You may use up to five seconds of video in the project, but this is optional.
- The miminum number of distinct still images is 30. These may include any kind of image taken from any source, including photographs, diagrams, text, and frame grabs from a video source. A separate study guide is available to help you to prepare still images for import.
- The minimum length of the audio track is two minutes. You may use commercially recorded music and/or audio composed or recorded from any other source.
- The video should include appropriate titles and credits, including your name. You should credit the source of all materials that you did not create yourself. (For example, you should credit the specific web sites from which you download images.)
The completed video should not exceed the MPAA's guidelines for an R-rated film.
Be creative.
