Create a web site that showcases your projects.
Remember that this is something that you may some day show to a prospective employer. The persona conveyed by the layout and design of the site therefore should be professional. It doesn't have to be boring, but you should avoid slang, swear words, and other inappropriate text or images. Links to any movies that include material inappropriate for children or the workplace (higher than MPAA PG) should include prior notification of that fact.
The site's grammar and mechanics should be perfect.
Your completed home page must include the following:
- Your name and an informative title;
- Working links to separate pages for each movie;
- A 2-3 sentence biography, contact information, and thumbnail descriptions of each movie;
The individual movie pages should include a "Credits" section that gives complete copyright information for any music, images, movies, or other copyrighted material that you used in their creation.
Important Note
The lab's hard drives will be erased soon after the class ends. Therefore, before the final class period, you should make copies of your portfolio and any other files your wish to keep.
