Three 60-minute miniDV tapes. Do not buy Sony brand tapes, since they can gum up the heads of non-Sony cameras.
One DVD-R disk. (Note: Do not buy DVD+R, since this format does not work in the Macintoshes.)
Movies, photocopies, and Web sites (announced in class and linked from the schedule) may be assigned throughout the semester.
Required out-of-class attendance
Because of the nature of this class and its subject matter, you occasionally will be required to attend meetings and participate in shoots that take place outside of our regularly scheduled class times. I will try to give you as much flexibility and lead time in this scheduling as possible, but your participation in these events is not optional.
