Using the Drop Box
To save a copy of your file onto “Martha Wicker's Computer,” follow these steps.

Export your movie (if you are delivering a Quicktime file). Save and close your project.

In the Finder, select Go > Network from the menu items.

Click once on “Martha Wicker's Computer.” Click the “Connect” button that appears to the right.

A dialog box, titled “Connect to Server,” will open. In this dialog box, select the radio button next to “Guest” and click the “Connect” button.

A new dialog box will open. Select the “administrator” volume and click OK.

A new icon--a blue globe named administrator--will appear on your desktop. Double-click on this icon to reveal the drop box folder.

Double-click on the LaCie drive to open a new window. Make sure your file's name is correct before you save it to the drop box. Double-check the project directions for the required file name, and re-name your file if necessary. Once you have done this, drag the file onto the drop box and release.

A window will open that states “You do not have permission to see the results of this operation. Do you want to continue?” Click OK.

Disconnect the volume by dragging the blue globe icon to the Trash.
