Teaching
In Fall 2012, I will teach Global Contexts (CMS 4500), Writing for Digital Media (CMS 3710), and Media and Civil Rights (CMS 4800). Other recent courses include New Media Design (CMS 3720) and Digital Video Post Production (CMS 4450).
Research
My book chapter "The Virtual Spaces of Civil Rights" appered in volume 2 of Cinephilia in the Age of Digital Reproduction (Wallflower, 2012). My article "Globalization and the U.S. Civil Rights Movement" recently appeared in Public Culture (23.3). The college's Creative Activities and Scholarship Enhancement program awarded course releases to support my research in fall 2010 and 2011.
